 | Still up with Rhythms and PhoenixDSL So, my migration was supposed to be Friday 3/30 between 8 PM and 4 AM PST, but I'm still up on PhoenixDSL with Rhythms, working great as usual.
Anyone else? |
|
 | Yup, same situation.
I can check my Telocity e-mail through their web page, also I can ftp my web page to their server, so at least some of my accounts are set up. I can't seem to access my account information, but maybe that can only happen after the transition. |

 | reply to bretmartin Well, my connection went down last night. I called Telocity tech support, and they had me do a bunch of things I'd already done (power cycle the modem, reboot my computer). Then they tried giving me an IP address by hand since I was getting no response from DHCP. That didn't work either.
The frustrating part is my modem is still up and trained -- just no IP connectivity.
The rep filed a ticket and said I'd hear back in 1-5 days. I'm wondering if I should try calling back hoping that I'll get someone more clueful on the second go... |

DescentWrap It UpPremium join:2000-11-10 Hoboken, NJ | We got the migration letter on Fri, March 30, but no migration date was noted, bigbox was on the way though. Then on Monday Phoenix died at 5:40am. Much to my surprise the box was at my door when I got home...we're up and running on Telocity and I can believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Same situation here. No DHCP, manually entering IP addresses didn't work, open trouble ticket. The support tech couldn't ping my assigned gateway.
The tech did seem to be competent, though. Had me try three other gateway addresses that they use for SDSL connections (obviously didn't work). We'll see how they do resolving this problem. |

SDSL with the Telocity Gateway? I have SDSL via Rhythms in the Boston area, been down for 2 days. Telocity finally got my credit card authorized and said they will ship the modem. I thought if I was on SDSL I would use the existing CopperRocket. Does the Telocity gateway support ADSL and SDSL? Doesn't seem likely. |

Re: Still up with Rhythms and PhoenixDSL I have Phoenix Rhythms in NJ. Went down last night (april 2) and I'm trying to determine if it's just me or my whole area. I am getting green lights on my Copperrocket SDSL but no service. |

I also have SDSL and have been sent their modem...it appears that they have several versions of the gateway. |
