 | I can't Believe This! After getting a letter from Telocity in December, waiting for over three months, dealing with Phoenix's TERRIBLE tech support, having 3 outages that lasted weeks, not days... They tell me that some people simply weren't transitioned and that I'll have to find alternate access.. well in my area, there is NO alternate access except dialup.. I can't believe this..

But I, like you, got no choice. I feel your pain. |

They tell me that some people simply weren't transitioned and that I'll have to find alternate access..
I'd be curious to read about that. Thanks

 | reply to lml2000 I heard it from two of Telocity's representatives.. They said that if I'm not in their database now then the info was never sent to them by Megapath/Phoenix. I have a feeling they're trying to get rid of IDSL customers since they do not do new IDSL orders.. |

Wolf7 join:2000-11-20 Griffin, GA | Well, I have gotten my IP, Gateway and DNS numbers. E-mail info from them yesterday. Was supposed to have transitioned on the 5th. But received an e-mail today, stating that it would be today sometime between 8 and 12 p.m. p.s.t. We will see. Not holding my breath any longer. Also heard from DSLi. That my IDSL order through them is progressing and should be on track to go live 4-13-01. Yea, Friday the 13th. -- Regards from the Southland Wolf |

 | reply to DSL Mad Guy Sounds like my experience. I called last Thursday and they said the same thing....phoenix didn't transfer me to their database...so I have to call their 800 number to set up new service. Today, I can't reach the dns server...had to use the one from work (don't tell them...haha). Cust service is a one way ticket to a hang up....no way to leave messages. Got the letter from Telocity about getting a new modem and a lower rate...we'll see. |
