I have to say thanks for DirectvDSL going out of business.
I still have the TV side and really like the service.
Directvdsl going out of business was the best thing to happen for my DSL service. I switched to verizon and I am now getting 1500/128 for 29.99 with no contract.

No, not idiots, more like has beens. We were the best while it lasted and it was getting even better until the shoe dropped. I agree with information minister Swanboy, I keep waiting to wake up and find it was just a nightmare. |

| You're right. Everything after DTV is pretty much "has been" territory. We had the best ISP out there and they ripped it out of our cold dead hands. Most ISP forums have a daily dose of complaints, problems and things that just don't work. We really never had that in here (I'm post-telocity) and my guess was that the lack of problems made us all a little wacky in our search for entertainment. Now we're still wacky; we just don't have DTV. |

I must agree. I now have 1.5/256 service for $39.99 a month, $10 less than DTV was charging for slower service. |

I don't think swanboy was calling anyone an idiot, he was impersonating the Iraqi information minister when he called the reporter an idiot for pointing out they could hear the American tanks firing in the background.
