Knology router problemI've already reported this and supposedly a ticket had been opened up a week ago and it looks like it's just getting worse. » /quali ··· /1058317 |

Have you noticed a speed decrease lately? My connection was really "laggy" last night. |

Mine has been nothing but laggy since I got it. I get speeds all over the place including some really high upload speeds. Check these out:

Hey Dave,
I just got of the phone with TS. She told me that West Point GA (Knology's HQ is under water). I found and reported two routers that are dropping packets like crazy. Look:

nonsense. a flooded parking lot does not translate into flooded bandwidth. do computers freeze-up when it drops below freezing ?? routers are programmed to drop (or at least give lower priority to) icmp-type traffic (i.e., ping) and are not indicative a congested router or route. if your final destination (the ip address on your computer) has no packet loss yet you see packet loss at an upstream router on a traceroute initiated from outside your isp's network back to your computers ip address, that only indicates that the router gives low priority to icmp traffic. |

Things have gotten better. I have my speed back now. Not to sure about what happened. I sent several trace routes and ping captures to Tech Support. Somebody listened!!! I am VERY Happy again with Knology. |
