Re: Shoulda known... Telocity has NOT ordered lines Good to freaking know. I just put an order with my local SNET (SBC) company! I can't believe I already wasted 1 week. Question though. If SDSL if located on 2-nd line(naturally), then there shouldn't be any problem with releasing loops and anything like that, right? |

Jake359 join:2001-01-01 Bradenton, FL | My experience with Telocity goes thus: Checked their website. Did the online chat thing with a salesperson. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction. He calls me, sets up an order etc.
Next day I check with Rhythms, who DOES NOT service my CO. So I call Telocity "who is your wholesale line provider for my area?" "Rhythms" "But Rhythms doesn't service my area" "Let me transfer you" BUSY SIGNAL Call back...blah blah blah, transferred, DISCONNECTED Call back, hold for 30 minutes, blah blah blah.."OK we've canceled your order"
"But why" I ask "was I told by the salesperson that I was good to go?" "They would've discovered that (the lack of Rhythms service) when they went to provision your line."
And how long would I have waited for that? Thank the gods for this site, and my past experience, and that I decided to check up, or I would've waited a month for NOTHING

Jake359 join:2001-01-01 Bradenton, FL | When I went to the website to check availability, there was a link to "chat live with a rep right now". A little window popped up and he was there, asking every two seconds if I was "ready to order yet" -- the opinions expressed are those of the author. your mileage may vary. the surgeon general has made no determination as to the health benefits of this post. |
