Re: Shoulda known... Telocity has NOT ordered lines

OK I just called again. Turns out that my line has finally been ordered, and my new provider is Bellsouth. I was also told that it would be a "three week" wait, but this time the rep told me we're already 1 week into the process, so it would only be another couple weeks.
I feel better now! I'm just waiting on BellSouth at this point. Units in my apartment complex generally get 768/256 ADSL from Bellsouth-- I'm about 13000 feet from the CO. I'll sure miss my static IP, but being on dialup for the past week has convinced me that anything is better than dialup.
If in two weeks I'm back up and running on DSL, I'll post a big THANK YOU message on here for Telocity, because it means they will have delivered on their promise.
And to Telocity's credit, I've called their DSL hotline (the special Northpoint one) 3 times this week and always got right to a rep without having to wait on hold.
