I'm getting sent to line shared ADSL with Rhythms, but my only question is how far out does this go(384/256 or so)... Since I'm just barely too far for the GTE/Verizon NorthWest 768 package I was hoping this would be able to make it(the bronze up here goes to a little past 16k/feet and I'm 16.5k from the CO). If anyone knows the distance for their ADSL please lemme know.
I was hoping someone had something that was a lil diff than that page... cuz otherwise I'm... screwed... if that page is correct with the distances that is.

Me too. The big frustration is that the separate line that Northpoint was using tests a lot better and therefore appears to be a lot closer to the CO than my voice line. But trying to get that NP converted to a 2nd voice line so that it could be the Rhythms line share line hasn't been successful. :-(
Thing is my phone line is new(bout 1 month old to be precise)... so the chances of the np line actually being closer than my normal phone line are pretty slim .

Don't bet on it. I once had three pairs in my NID: Qwest voice line, NP SDSL line, and one that Sprint ION tried to use without success. All 3 get different test results and different imputed distances. But the best was the 2nd line and the worst was the 3rd line. I think a lot depends on what the tech does at the neighborhood box and how many routes it has back to the CO.
Well in my case I would bet on it... Driving distance to the CO is lil over 2 1/2 miles. It's a converted IDSL to Phone box, it's a whole lot shorter than the main phoneline which is 22k, so I think you can make an exception in my case.
