No, seriously, I think that there must be some push to dump customers with certain types of connections or in certain areas. I find it difficult to believe that they could be so incompetent and still be in business.
I have called them at least four times to verify my complete account information in the database and each time something, that was OK the previous time, was screwed up. This last time everything was screwed up, including the part where they were trying to migrate my home DSL on my work phone number. They had my home number before, what happened? This last time I was told that if they didn't already have the correct phone number of the location to get DSL in the database they would have to cancel the order and I would have to place a new order. Of course there is no way I would go with Telocity starting from scratch.
So, since my Phoenix line was SDSL, I was able to order an ADSL line through another provider without the hassle of getting the line released. It should be up sometime next week.
