Re: BitTorrent problems w/ Linksys modem? Yep, having the same problem here. The modem will simply disconnect anywhere from 15mins(lowest I've seen yet) to 8+hours using BitTorrent. Seems to happen faster when I set my upload rate higher in the experimental version of BitTorrent. Talked with Comcast for about 2 hours regarding this problem. I removed my router completely for one test and the problem STILL happened. I did an FTP upload test, and at full upload bandwidth (256kbits/sec) I had no disconnection after 3 hours. I was going to purchase another Linksys modem and see if the problem was caused by a faulty modem but now I'm thinking it could be a design flaw/firmware bug. BTW, my hardware version in my BEFCMU10 v2 is 4.0, firmware version is 1.0.6. Im curious as to what others have who are having and not having problems with BitTorrent. Thanks.
