Re: [Poll] What is your Preferred Image Viewer? I've been using Irfanview for as long as I can remember. I can't offer any comparisons since Irfanview has been my viewer of choice and I haven't looked at other options. Irfanview and it's freeware Shell Extension from Baxbex makes for a nice addon.
Some IrfanView features:
Many supported file formats Multi language support Thumbnail/preview option Slideshow (save slideshow as EXE/SCR or burn it to CD) Drag & drop support Fast directory view (moving through directory) Batch conversion (with image processing) Email option Multimedia player Print option Change color depth Scan (batch scan) support Cut/crop IPTC editing Effects (Sharpen, Blur, Photoshop filter factory) Capturing Extract icons from EXE/DLL/ICLs Lossless JPG rotation Many hotkeys Many command line options Many plugins Only one EXE-File, no DLLs, no Shareware messages like "I Agree" or "Evaluation expired" No registry changes without user action/permission! and many more -- Write your questions down on the back of a $20 dollar bill and send them to me |

 | IrfanView gets my vote too. It's simple and easy to use. I don't use any of the advanced features, don't know how, but may look into that someday. -- "But now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." (1 Cor. 13:13) |
