Lakeland, FL | Anyone know how to contact the president of GTE? If it weren't for GTE's mistakes, I would have had my 784k SDSL hooked up about a month ago. After GTE lied repeatedly about problems with my line that would prevent me from getting SDSL, they finally said that I had a remote service unit in the line. I didn't believe this either after being lied to so much, so I bitched at North Point constantly until they finally got GTE to retest the line. Now a month after it should have been hooked up, GTE says "Oh, sorry we must have made a mistake" and qualified my line for 1.5mbps SDSL. Now it will probably be another 30 days before I get it hooked up. And I can't even get free months out of it because it isn't my isp's mistake.GTE JUST PLAIN SUCKS and I want to write to their president to see if I can get some sort of compensation for this. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. |
