The thinking on caps is this shared network large dowloaders slow down the network but if we use caps on bandwith them they won't download as much. You all are whining about 40 gigs a month lets be real other cable companys like cox set the cap to 2 gigs per month you could get DSL and not be told how much you can download per month. I had cable modem service of about three months I thought it sucked. I went to DSL because I hate a shared network.
