[EM3] What might this be?

See that 1 in a blue circle? What's that mean? I've never seen it before...Curious...

It means the WU you just finished has not been uploaded to the Stanford servers yet. No worries, it will periodically try until it's accepted.

I think it means you have a WU in que(sp?) to send to the Stanford servers.

EDIT:MSeng beat me to it...

Max is 10, but you should send before you get that many queued.... IF not than it starts overwriting the WU's.

I didn't know that....but the server(s) would have to be down for quite some time for me to queue up that many.

Yeah, it stores up the units if it can't send them back for some reason and will get a new unit in the next slot to start to work on... The client will continue to try and send the queued unit(s) every six hours until they go up.

There are 10 slots 0 - 9 so if you have units queued in
3 - 1 and you are working on one in 2 and it finishes and can't send any in, it will then delete the one in 3 and start a new one in there.

This is highly unlikely though as it takes quite a while to get back around the loop, and normally the units have been sent long before then.

What happens if it doesn't try to send the WU? I've had one sitting here for 2 days now and not once has it tried to send the WU. I've downloaded 2 and sent one back since, but this one just refuses to budge!

Perhaps a bad WU, or it actually sent and just left files behind ... Have you tried to manually send it? What is the IP of the server it is trying to go to?

It's that same one I told you about before. After I turned off my proxy (yes dumb old me had it running for two and a half days without realising) I restarted the client but instead of sending the WU, it just downloaded a fresh one and started folding away on that. It just refuses to send! It's a couple of days old now so I suppose I've gotten over the hurt of losing it. Now I'd just like to get rid of it one way or another.

Edit: I don't know how to manually send a WU and I think the IP was 144.

Restart the client with the flag -send all.

If it does not go, then the proxy being on when you got it has most likely messed something up with the IP it thinks it is supposed to be sending it to or something.

There is also a clear flag for the queue I think but I would have to check. Otherwise it will just be overwritten when the next unit rolls over into that queue spot.

Huh? It just shut down by itself... All I see there is that it was attempting to send and then the client exited.

Close the client and open a command window.

browse to the client exe and run it with the flag
- queueinfo

It should list the slots and tell you which slot you have a unit in queue at.
