After I turned off my proxy (yes dumb old me had it running for two and a half days without realising) I restarted the client but instead of sending the WU, it just downloaded a fresh one and started folding away on that.  It just refuses to send!  It's a couple of days old now so I suppose I've gotten over the hurt of losing it.
