Hey, I just want to know if Britsys users on the Worlcom Cable Buster plan can access the reader.news.uu.net NNTP server... I was reading through the Digizip board and saw that because they are on WorldCom IP addresses, they are able to use the WorldCom news server. Can someone verify that for me? I am getting the Britsys package and am looking to pay for the $2.50 newsgroup access, but I am pretty confident that I will use up my 5 GB monthly limit pretty quickly and want to know if I can use the UUNet news server as a backup until my account resets. I am with BritSys also and have been using the "reader.news.uu.net" NNTP server the entire time without any problem. I haven't done any posting, just reading and downloading. I'm also not sure what, if any, limits there are with this server.
