I have an older westell modem 36r515 which is not directly compatible with bell south's dsl service, partially because I can access it directly through the web browser to adjust the settings (as you can in the newer ones). I think it should be compatible with a workaround though, because I was able to change the settings to 8/35 and upgrade the firmware. Has anyone gotten this type of modem to work with Bell SOuth (or similar) and could you please let me know how you did it? Thanks!
(This worked fine with Verizon 2 years ago, it's their modem)
