When you can't feel safe shopping or taking a bus ride, your not going to like the source of the terror. It seems 100% of the terror is coming out of palestine. If the palestinian people can't stop the bad people among them, then why do they feel they should have the respect of anyone? | |

You're quite right of course, the right to resist occupation is quite clear here. However, the targets of the terror are not only in the territories, but also in Tel-Aviv, and that is NOT occupied. That's a very practical strategy, you know. There are more Israelis than Palestinians. So for every single palestinian who blows himself up, maybe 30 israelils are killed, then the army retaliates, another 100 or 1000 palestinians are dead, and the cycle starts all over again. Do the math, and tell me how many palestinians will be left in the end. Who's going to run out of people first?
Intifada-1 back in the 1990s was resistance, like the french resisted the nazis. Intifada-2 right now is absolute idiocy. Do you labor under the illusion that palestinians have any friends in the world, or even in the arab world? Want to hear the truth? Palestinians are the jews of the arab world. Do not dissolution yourself into thinking someone owes the Palestinians a state. By the laws of war, Israel has every right to keep territory captured in a defensive war. By the laws of the U.N. resolution 242, Israel mustn’t relinquish all of the territory, certainly not until terrorism has ended.
Do not further dissolution yourself into thinking the Arab world is supportive of the Palestinians. They are not allowed to become citizens of any Arab country sans Jordan. Kuwait expelled its Palestinian population following Arafat's support for Saddam in the Gulf War. Jordan massacred well over a thousand Palestinians during Black September, ironically again because of Arafat. Palestinians are merely a pawn in the Arab's ongoing war against Israel. They are purposefully being kept in squalid refugee camps, so that they keep up the hostilities with Israel. When 600,000 Jews were expelled from Arab countries following the creation of Israel, they were all absorbed by Israel. Why haven't the Arabs, who are in need of additional labor and are under populated, not done the same for the Palestinians.
I believe, that in order to create a just, peaceful Palestinian state, the Palestinians need a civil war to expel the terrorist elements from their society, Arafat included. Abu Mazen and Mohammed Dahlan are too cowardly in their action, and refuse to disarm terrorist groups, a violation of the road map. Only after a civil war will the Palestinians be able to rally towards a competent leadership working towards the benefit of the Palestinian populace, and not their own demented interests. Arab society in general needs to be rebuilt. You cannot justify a society where Mein Kampf is on the best sellers list (note. Mein Kampf IS selling extremely well in Egypt). Furthermore, anti-Semitism needs to be wiped out from Arab textbooks, television and print media. Arab society is bordering on Nazism. You cannot have any peace in the Middle East until this is remedied.

After the battle around Jenin, Al-Jazeera had a "Martyrathon" - that's what they called it, a telethon where they sollicited donations from Persian Gulf states for "The Martyrs" in Palestine. Donations that were supposed to go to the families of Palestinian victims. Money came through from private donors all over the Gulf - Baharain, Qatar, Abu-Dahbi, even Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Do you know how much money was collected? $92 Million U.S. Where did it all go???? Did America prevent anyone from making donations? Did America prevent anyone from sending it to anyone? Do you think with $92 Million it would be possible to do something productive like, I don't know, build a second hospital in Jenin? Not in a million years. Do you know why? Because the last thing Arab countries want, is to resolve the Palestinian problem. Remove the problem, and Arab countries lose the flag they so enjoy waving at America. They lose any basis for any "public opinion" sympathy. Arabs have bought and sold Palestinians over and over whenever it suits them. What Israelis are doing to Palestinians is bad enough, but at least there's an element of self-defense. What Arabs are doing to Palestinians is unforgivable - and you're not going to find out about it from Al-Jazeera, or from Google, I promise you.
Maybe it's time Palestinians learned this unofficial Jewish prayer: Dear lord, protect me from my friends, I'll handle my enemies.
One last thing: The idea of committing suicide for the sake of killing your enemies with you, is not an Arab invention. It's a Jewish invention. The first person who did it was a Judean judge, his name was Samson. If Palestinians want to push Israel far enough, the Israelis may eventually exercise their "Samson option." So what are you saying? The Arabs need to change their attitude, accept Israel as a friendly neighbor, and then exist as peace-loving countries? Let me tell you this is never going to happen. You are assuming that Israel is trying its best to resolve this ongoing issue with Palestinians, and finally create a homeland for Jews where they can live in harmony.
The real objective of Israel is far from this. They seek to possess the entire Land of Israel as they once did over 2000 years ago. If you examine the Israeli flag, you'll notice a blue line on the top and a blue line at the bottom. These blue lines refer the Nile River in Egypt, and the Euphrates River in Iraq. Everything in between was the once Land of Israel. Through so-called peace talks (which almost always end up in failure) and the control of people's minds through the media, it has created this illusion that it is a peace loving country having trouble existing because of crazy Arab terrorists who blow them selves up to get 70 virgins.
You may think that such a goal is far from possible. To acquire such lands would require another world war. Israel has a detailed plan on bringing the Al-Aqsa Mosque down, which if carried out, would lead to nothing less than a world war. The military power of Israel is far superior compared to any of its Arab nations. What do you think the purpose of Gulf War II was? To weaken any Arab nation that may stand a chance against Israel's goals. Already the US has threatened for military action against Syria and Iran. Remember, Israel has stock piled over 200 nukes, while at the same time, if an Arab nation is even suspected of posessing any nuke or bio weapon...well we saw what happened in Iraq (and so far the amount of weapons of m.d. found in Iraq is 0 (zero)).
The French are Europeans. So are the English. Why didn’t England take the French in when Hitler moved to France. Likewise, one cannot expect Jordan, Egypt or whatever Arab country to take in millions and millions of other Arabs, just kicked out of their homeland, into their country with a broad smile. Furthermore, we couldn’t expect the totality of Europe to stand back and watch as Hitler occupied the countries of Europe. What the Arabs feel towards Zionist Israel and the Palestinians is the same as what the Europeans felt towards Nazi Germany and their victims. The difference comes in when the Europeans had a right to fight back Hitler whereas the Arabs are not allowed to defend their own families, homes, and neighbors, from being bulldozed (quite literally).
