The North American Electric Reliability Council stated in one of the stories that there has been problems in the past from the Lake Erie loop. I just hope what happened is not of things to come.

Ok... while CNN had a corner on the first Gulf war... They haven't done anything innovative since...

Well, they found the cause. A pair of lines near Cleveland. One line overloaded and tripped out. The other pair picked up the load and when they overheated and sagged, they hit a tree that was not supposed to be there. They tripped out. Then it went downhill from there,
