I believe it was supposed to be a snark on the whole "If you buy drugs, then you support terrorism" media blitz.
As to the p2p story, RIAA probably doesn't care if they set one up in the Middle East. Right now, they're going after the individual downloaders---which only happened after they couldn't get Napster-like court victories. |
