Be very careful.....

I believe the responsibility for protection resides with the user....not with the ISP. I run behind a firewall, a router and check for patches daily (dual boot XPPro and Mandrake 9.x). I also live part of the year in Mexico(where I am now) where firewall activity is a lot higher than I have ever seen in the US. In my opinion if we start delegating responsibility for system protection to the ISP's there could be far reaching consequences **oh NO you cant visit THAT SITE/download THAT software/yadayadayada its DANGEROUS we are only trying to protect you its for your own good** no thanks. There are always going to be people who want to be protected from themselves--sigh-- Just my 2 cents and prbly not worth that LOL.
