Nope. No need for cases when you're on a budget!
If these were anywhere that people or pets might be around, then I'd want cases to protect them. However, they're on a shelf behind my table/desk, so there's no real danger of any damage being done to them. Eventually they'll move to my basement (where they'll be even better off).

You could consider these as being "rack mounted" as the suffice they are on appears to be of a rackle nature. I know, rackle is not a word but it could be if you all use it enough!
