Wylie, TX | Great Service and Price. Decent Tech Support These guys just set up a WISP in Wylie Texas. So far I am impressed with the service and support. I am getting very close to the advertised speeds ( 1.5mbps advertised get a consistent 1.3-1.4 mbps. I have minimal packet loss and lag(less than I had back when I had cable modem). I did have an issue with an airbridge that needed a firmware fix but other than that everything has been golden(known issue with that particular airbridge). Every time I have needed to talk with them the support has been prompt. They dont have 24 hr support although they say they will get back with you within 45 mins if you call( no clue on this since I have typically had immediate contact the few times I have had to call). They do share a T1 line out to the neighborhood but as of a few days ago they were already upgrading to a 3mbps backbone which should be up in a few weeks. Not sure if that just means they are adding another T1 or if it means going with something like a T3.
All in all I rate them 9.5 out of 10. |

They are already planning on increasing the current package to 3000K Down and 3000K UP for no additional charge. |
