Speed change if I switch?

We currently have ADSL with another company. The lines are BellSouth lines and throughput is consistently tracked at 1.1-1.3. I am seriously considering switching to BritSys.net to get a static IP address and to cut current cost. Since I currently get 1.1-1.3, will my speed remain the same?

Your speed likely will be the same. If you can get MCI 1536x768 kbps ADSL your up stream speed will like to be increased a lot! However, BritSys.net requires 18-month contract. If you cancel any time before 18th month ends, there will be a charge for it. See MCI forum at »/forum/rhythms/ for more information please.

ms4505,

As long as your circuit is provisioned out of a main central office and not a remote terminal we should be able to get you the 1500/768 ADSL.

You can IM me your full address with phone number and i can tell you the loop length between your office and central office.

BritSys
