I think that would be *nix. At least that's what I clicked.

These are interesting numbers. At this point ZA (any flavor) has 44%. I would have expected that to be bit lower and a Tiny a bit higher, given the word of mouth Tiny gets here.

Tiny might be more popular than it is if it didn't have to have rule sets. Many people that you see posting here are OK with those and a bit more savvy, but the over all feeling that I get is that ZA is still a far more comfortable set-up for the general public's usage do to its simplicity. Remember, if those rule sets aren't done correctly, you have a less than safe system, and I think that that knowledge has had an effect on the easy and popularity of ZA over Tiny.

I'm guessing that's the same reason Conceal has only 2 votes so far. Because of being rule based.

Is there any chart that compares Zone Alarm and Tiny Personal Firewall? I'm referring to both the free versions.
I use ZoneAlarm on laptop and got some problems with my adsl line so I wanted to give TPF a try.

With regards to ZA and Tiny, I have used both extensively and IMO which one is more effective depends on the user. ZA is a great one to install and use for a novel user. Tiny is far more powerful, but requires more knowledge to set up correctly.

I would be surprised if I drop Tiny now that I have been working with it for a while. Excellent and picks up a lot of outbound traffic that I didn't see with Tiny.

It is a bit difficult to find a logging program for Tiny, but not impossible if you look hard enough.
