This is not surprising. I'm sure Ed never saw the need for DSL, ISDN, etc either. It wasn't until the competition started rolling that they decided they'd better move forward, too.
Geesh. Talk about thinking to the future, NOT.
Imagine if other "Captains of Industry" thought like this.... "Well, I really don't see the need for building xxxxxxxx" (Whereas "xxxxxxx" = all the major innovations of the 21st century.)
