That it could...are you by any chance running S-ata drives? I've found the s-ata controller dies at over 300FSB. Also when you go over 300FSB you need to raise the agp/pci bus speed using setfsb. Set that first then the fsb you want (though the bios has the option to change the pci speed it doesn't work  )
