FYI, according to their website you can also get a Matrox for your system with 128 or 256 MB, and the L enhancement package.
So you're in luck. -- Playing on Konried as DoubleT, a member of The Outfit. |

That's because right now trying to use current *volatile* RAM tech as solid-state storage space is a very expensive proposition, and is one of the main reasons that the general market for storage is primarily still in mechanical hard drives.
Once we can move to solid-state RAM that could store gigs of info as cheaply as modern hard drives can, you can be rest assured we'll be kissing hard drive failures goodbye. -- Why I hate VIA |

FYI, there's even a 512MB model. I saw the box for it myself in one of the local stores.
Though the problem still lies that the GPU itself is very poor for gaming, and that even the 256MB model of the Parhelia paled when compared to a GeForce4 Ti4600 - I could only imagine how the 512MB variant would crumble before - i.e. - a 256MB 9800 Pro. -- Why I hate VIA |

Cute system. Although proprietary always worries me. If I can't fix it with off the shelf parts, that would worry me.
While you're at it, buy two and use the second for parts... IT'S ONLY MONEY! LOL... -- Dogs are not generally picky eaters... »www.folsomtech.com |
