Re: They can't make em any better than this

Did anyone else notice that the PuRAM Technology Drive they mention extensively is optional, and that that option will set you back an additional $4999?

As far as I had known, the only card that I know that could span through 3 monitors and have the taskbar through all of them was the Matrox Parhelia, but we all know how much of a performer that is for gaming.

FYI, according to their website you can also get a Matrox for your system with 128 or 256 MB, and the L enhancement package.

So you're in luck.

That's because right now trying to use current *volatile* RAM tech as solid-state storage space is a very expensive proposition, and is one of the main reasons that the general market for storage is primarily still in mechanical hard drives.

Once we can move to solid-state RAM that could store gigs of info as cheaply as modern hard drives can, you can be rest assured we'll be kissing hard drive failures goodbye.

FYI, there's even a 512MB model. I saw the box for it myself in one of the local stores.

Though the problem still lies that the GPU itself is very poor for gaming, and that even the 256MB model of the Parhelia paled when compared to a GeForce4 Ti4600 - I could only imagine how the 512MB variant would crumble before - i.e. - a 256MB 9800 Pro.

Egads, I could buy TWO of these for the amount I am writing this check payable to "Tax Collector, Town of New Milford"...

Cute system. Although proprietary always worries me. If I can't fix it with off the shelf parts, that would worry me.
While you're at it, buy two and use the second for parts... IT'S ONLY MONEY! LOL...

After drooling for an hour, it did occur to me that there are too many "oddities" about that site.

Gonna have to call Shenanigans until there can be an actual review of the company/and or their products they puport to sell.

The waiver you reference is quite standard and should not be construed as deeming the site as fictitious.

You might want to read the links contained in the *about* tab as it provides a bit of background into the venture.

Also appears the founder Miguel Liebermann comes from the MAC world :

Hope this puts to rest any perceptions of a potential hoax.
