 | reply to ICGabe Yes, you're right, the 5200 doesn't have a default login, but you can set it in a better way and make your login/pass durable. All you've got to do is enter in a telnet session and introduce the following configuration:
cfg upro#2{un="viva",pw="Mexico",per=0x2
and thats it! the login is: viva & the password is: Mexico obviously, you can change the login pass if you change the command sentence in the places where you are thinking at this moment. If you have the mexican version of the firmware then your login/pass is telmex/telmex. But if you have another version you can see your login/pass entering to the ftp administration mode of the speedstream with the program posted by ICGabe, the you can download the file x.cfg or the x.def (manually get 'cause the router won't show the list). Near to the end of those files you'll find the login/pass that you chose (or admin/admin) and a little bit after the login/pass for the telnet.
Sorry about my poor english... |

Also you can try some obvious combo's like efficient/efficient, 5200/5200 admin/admin, superuser/superuser, god/god, user/user, ect.

Don't know if that is even possible. It's never been done to my knowledge and if it has no one has posted of their success or failure. Let us know what you find out.

Re: 5200 ftp the command cfg upro#2{un="viva",pw="Mexico",per=0x2 didnt work for me. It just show the upro#2 configuration on the screen instead of changing the un= and pw= . |

re: 5200 ftp Why dont you just use some brute force tool? Get a big wordlist and go try Hydra (for linux), or something. |
