 | PowerGate is slow! Well Powergates still going slow as usual for my friend He had the exact same problem as me... well actually as everyone subscribed to PowerGate. Download speeds on weekdays in the morning (little usage) are fast and speeds on Saturday afternoons (heavy usage) are incredibly slow. Also, PowerGate technicians will try and say stuff like 'it's a problem at your end' or 'most likely something wrong in only your neighbourhood' but nope, its everywhere. Don't buy Powergate, its a waste of money and besides Sympatico's DSL and ADSL services with unlimited bandwidth are much faster and ping times are also much better for those of you into gaming. Do not buy PowerGate. That is all... |

 | Tell me who your friend is, and we'll check it out. I had someone do a speed test the other day that came back 2967/377. I did a series of speed tests on the network where I consistently got 2200 kbps download and more, during busy times.
I know what our technicians say, and they don't say that. Has your friend ever even called us?

Yoda2003: Sympatico is stooping pretty low by doing this. This just isn't fair to customers. Imagine the complaints they'll be receiving. Adding extra services to a customers bill? Isn't that illegal?
