My wife spent a week or so seven years ago during New Years in Montr&eacute;al, back before I knew her. She really enjoyed Montr&eacute;al alot even in the dead of winter.  <br><br>Vancouver City council is trying to move in this direction of a &#147;fun City&#148; after years of being called a no fun city.<br><br>I think Vancouver&#146;s moniker of a no fun city started after our 94 Stanley Cup Riots. The authorities became paranoid of anything that might attract a crowd.       ]]></description>
