16 users only can request at a time.. you can't record (well, so they say.. wink wink).. and they have a license agreement. Hell.. if I was at MIT I wouldn't even bother with this.. I have this thing.. called a radio, CD player, plays tapes too.. you know.. those thingys with the tape in them? Even plays my mixed CD's.. and because of the wonders of the internet, my catalog is far greater than 3400 albums (can you say Vinyl?)
These 2 dimwits spent 2 YEARS getting this going.. I wish I had such free time on my hands to create something that isn't even a good idea. And Bill Gates financed them..
Ummm.. anyone got Bill's number? I have a few ideas that I'd like a $60,000 grant to implement.
This is beyond lame.
If anyone can actually say they'd use this service, I'd really like to know why.. valid reasons only please. Not.. 'Oh I just want to piss off the RIAA' bull...
