anon : I just got that same deal today as well because my 3 month deal they had me on has ended.
a ronin : Received an advisory offering Basic customers a chance to upgrade to Ultra 3Mb for 44.98/month for 2months, 69.99 thereafter. I'm thinking since my 3 month promotional period is over, I'll give Ultra a try and see at no extra cost to me. I said at the onset that I would change providers, but the grim prospect of dealing with the modem return gives me nightmares at night. Offer stands til Dec. 31st 2003 so if anyone wants in on a good deal, this is it.

For those who have upgraded before, can you confirm whether or not the transition is transparent or will there be downtime?
[text was edited by author 2003-10-31 11:26:47]
