
| We're the perfect AOL customer Everyone in my house uses Cox HSI except for my mom, who uses AOL over the Cox HSI connection. Ironically, she not bad with computers at all. She recently completed an excel class and is very good at it (how many typical AOL users can say that?) yet she refuses to give it up. AOL's pretty interface gives her confidence to click around a bit before asking for help, and 9 times out of 10 she solves her own problems.
I still don't understand why AOL doesn't mold their strategy around what they're best at: Making things pretty! Forget content... prices... whatever. My mom doesn't care what it costs or what's on it. An easy, pretty way to upload digital camera pictures to friends though? Sign her up.
She's not leaving any time soon, either. AOL's interface has made her a customer for life. Her friends are the same way. This is their only hope for the future.
