SBC is like most co's now. fiber, faster speeds more of this more of that cheaper price. They will say anything to get you to sign up. THEN they won't do much to keep you. they like to say how many have signed up in the last quarter...looks great on paper...never mention how many leave.

Once they sign you up they dont gotta worry about satisfying you anymore. they got this thing called a 'early termination fee' to keep you handcuffed to them. if any cellphone company had a decent plan with decent service there would be no need for these penalty fees. -- You can never be too rich, too thin or have too much Bandwidth
