We took route 10 south into Hamden. It wasn't too bad! The way back was pretty much the same, except I took backroads. Nothing like driving down a tree line country road in the middle of a snowstorm. It was awesome.

FYI: MY e-brake works. ;)

I just went out to get the paper. There's a layer of "mush" on the bottom of the snow so I'm assuming a bit of rain has mixed with this. I'm going to hold off on the snowblowing for now.

PS: I really really need an ATV. Some higher elevations etc are forecasted for as much as 2' and the watch/warning/advisory has been extended to Sunday at 12Noon.

This is a big ol thing. It was snowing in Iowa and in Maryland at the same time.. all from the same storm.
