However, it's been too costly for Qwest to deploy it beyone Phoenix and Denver. The main killer is the distance limit (about 4000 feet for their 22Mb service). This requires a ton of remote terminals to cover enough area.
Given the size and density of Hong Kong, distance probably isn't a big issue there. |
