DSL TV for the Home

Hong Kong:
Roughly 43 square miles-with a population rivaling New York City.

C'mon, people-logic has escaped this thread big time. The reason the far east has an edge on REALLY fast broadband content is population density, Government subsidies, ect..

Would you like the U.S. Government(I.E. "The Fed's") to have their little paws in your broadband connection affairs?

I don't, and neither should you. We(in the United States) live in a very BIG country where alot of folks don't live within 12,000' of a CO to get DSL Broadband, so they have to contend w/cable, dialup or "the dish" for their broad band needs.

Someday, DSL TV will be available to everyone, but currently it isn't cost effective to empliment it outside of a major city(New York, Boston, Chicago, ect.)

Copyright protection: look @ TIVO, great idea there, isn't it

I see your point, but why don't USA cities like Ney York, LA, Atlanta and Chicago have killer broadband options? Seems they have the pop density to make it work.
