Even with Firebird this bothers me...

The mouseover shows symantec and so does the status bar. I would rather not visit any malicious site period. Is there any way, other than copying and pasting the link or viewing the source, to tell before I visit the site?

I just did a check with Firebird on my box and the Javascript does hide the true location but I was able to right click on the link and select properties. The dialog box that appeared clearly showed the redirection. I'm glad I know this now.

U can right click link and bogus URl should show in status bar or go to properties without having to click link. Works for me in IE6 BUT I DO NOT have SP1 Installed for both XP Pro and IE cuz it destroyed my web surfing ( made boot up time ultra fast tho....figures with MS)
