 ronsega join:2000-01-03 Chula Vista, CA | it's been ok but .. I've decided to move on with another ISP for broadband internet. I've had Megapath with IDSL (144kbps) to SDSL (1.1mbps) and then to ADSL (1.5mbps/384kbps). I must say the SDSL was the best out of all services I've had with Megapath.
But ending up with ADSL (at ~19K ft) at a more or less permanent residence (home owner), there were bumps in the provisioned line that had to force me to be put in Safe Mode at 928kbps/384kbps with additional latency.
I wasn't very happy with Safe Mode. I couldn't justify the expensive price for a solution where they put you into a mode that lowers your download speed and induced increased latency.
With a third of what I'm was paying I'm now getting 3 times as much download and way better latency with Cox HSI. |
