 | **yawn** Powergate dies **yawn** |
 | It's a good thing all the people who are signing up every month don't feel the way you do about us... Do you really think we'll not respond to Sympatico raising their speeds? You have your doubts, but wait and see. Our growth has never been better, so we must be doing something right.
You stick with doing your 200 Gigs per month on Sympatico -we wouldn't want you as a customer anyway.
I only respond to you to provide a counterpoint to the crap you spew about us since you seem to have some sort of obsession. Anyone who takes the time to look at some of your other contributions on these forums will see what type of person you are and judge accordingly, but unfortunately most don't. |

 | reply to Yoda2009 Perhaps Powergate actually runs at decent speed in their neighbourhoods... for the time being that is. Hmm, too bad it's still slow everywhere else. Also please make Powergate have no bandwidth restrictions because I want to buy a Dual-WAN router so I can pull 100 Gigs per month off your network. Btw I think people are forced to order Powergate in most areas where Sympatico hasn't been installed yet.
Question: How do you compete with Sympatico when your network is too overloaded to increase speeds and your too cheap to purchase more bandwidth? |
 | We'll continue to have bandwidth restrictions for the time being, thank you. People like you cost too much money to have as customers.
Sympatico is available in both Port Perry and Uxbridge, which is where the bulk of our customers are.
In answer to your question - it's not overloaded, and we're not too cheap to purchase more bandwidth. As I noted in my previous message, wait and see. It's only too bad that you'll be unable to take advantage of it when it comes. (Can you say 5 Mbps?) |
 | Well actually my father recently purchased a new house in a new neighbourhood and he was forced to get Powergate. So I will be able to experience it but I'm still waiting for Sympatico to be available there. I'll really have a chance to try Powergate once it gets set up there and perhaps you guys will prove me wrong. |
 | Which neighbourhood? If it's in PP or Uxb, I'm surprised Sympatico is not available. |
 | It's in Uxbridge, and construction has just recently finished on the first phase so it's relatively new. It's located by Uxbridge High School. |
 | Yeah, I know where you mean. It's not that far out, perhaps Sympatico just doesn't have the addresses in their availability database yet. |
