Linksys sucked before Cisco bought them. |

 | I've never used a Cisco-engineered Linksys product, so I can't comment on those. But their specialty is definitely business. |

And who are YOU to talk? >> "There even worse now. The crack monkeys at Cshitco don't know what to do with a web interface that actually makes since."
Well I'd bet they can at least compose a sentence without making 3rd grade mistakes. Feel free to spout off about a company's quality (or lack thereof) once you learn to exhibit some, yourself.
"There even worse now." === SHOULD be ==> "They're even worse..."
"...a web interface that actually makes since" === SHOULD be ==> "...actually makes sense". Of course, even with the correction I pointed out, it's YOUR SENTENCE that doesn't make sense. Are you saying that they don't know how to USE a web interface that makes sense, or that they don't know how to CREATE such an interface? |
|
 | Thanks for pointing that out. I'm sure you feel proud of yourself now.

Re: I will stop using ZoneAlarn if they mess with I hate people who have nothing better to do than point out grammar and spelling mistakes.
IMO my BEFSR41 that I bought after the merger has a good web interface. At least it doesn't cause lag like the dlink di-604 I had. |

Re: Grammar and spelling mistakes >> "I hate people who have nothing better to do than point out grammar and spelling mistakes."
Hey, a couple here and there are no big deal. But when the writer can't assemble a single line without TRASHING the language, all the while lambasting someone ELSE for turning out shoddy quality, it merits a comment.
IMHO, it should be EASY to read and understand what people write. There's enough hard stuff in life without hurting my brain trying to decipher someone's inane (and unsupported) rants.
I don't know if you write and maintain software code for a living, but programmers who write sloppy and disorganized code end up imposing immense costs on their organizations when others have to go back and untangle their messes. It's all related: shoddy thinking, writing, coding...and before you know it, inferior web interfaces are the result. Hence my comment about the earlier post, as it's a perfect case of the proverbial "pot calling the kettle black". |
