Hmmm, I use Primus Canada (formerly Wincom based out of Windsor, ON). I wonder if they're going to up there speeds now. Its nice to see Bell is FINALLY getting on the band wagon and trying to compete.
I worked for an ISP for quite some time and we had a large number of users switch from sympatico over to us for DSL service because we were faster. Also, my cable provider, Cogeco, has 5mbit downstreams, wouldnt it kick ass if Bell upped themselves to that!
Bell competing? They've been #1 since the begining.Maybe not fastest but in reliability and customer service and promos they cant be touched.As far as cogeco goes, for the most part they suck. I switched from their internet service because they didnt give a damn that my internet didnt work.Their solution to my problem was "maybe itll start working tommorrow". Their 5mbps is a total scam in my opinion and i guarantee noone will actually see those speeds on a cogeco line.I switched from Cogeco cableTV because of the same careless attitude.
