Do they monitor content, What is being posted and more importantly what is being downloaded?

I had read that they dont want to monitor what users post or download, because that would make them liable.
Furthermore, i read that they keep monitor logs for up to 90 days.

Can anyone give more info? Or lead me to a link that talks more about how they deal with roadrunner newsgropus.

Generally speaking, ISPs do not monitor content such as what is being posted and what is being downloaded. On the other hand, they do have log created by server software which allow ISP to follow up with complaint.:)

I was warned by RoadRunner Security (they actually made me call them) a few years back for posting several things in a newsgroup on a RoadRunner server.

The files were posted like 6 months before I was warned though.

I've never been warned for downloading.
