POP3 Settings for Photo Express Profile The data account set up for "Photo Messaging" is
APN = wap.cingular User ID = wap@cingulargprs.com Password = CINGULAR1
GPRS IP Address = 066.209.011.061
Email Settings Connect Using = Photo Messaging Protocol = POP3 Incoming Server = photo.mycingular.com Incoming Port = 110 Mailbox = cing Password = msg Outgoing Server = photo.mycingular.com Outgoing Port = 25
These were the settings that came with the photo with the following data accounts: Photo Messaging, Express, Home, Roam and GPRS 4. Didn't have to call CS for them as they were all preprogrammed with the phone. I am using Wireless Internet Express (WIX) for internet services on Cingular. If Cingular does not have WIX for your area then your using Wireless Internet and those settings are available at Howard Forums:

This is a great mobile phone community for information.
Hope this helps... Cheers |

I'll give those a try. That is extremely interesting since Cingular tech support, three of them in fact, has told me there is no such service, that the only way to exchange pictures is via MMS. One tech was very very nice and tried to find the info, he even called me back twice. |

 | FYI, I put in all the info and YES! I can email pictures from my phone! Amazing that the Cingular tech people denied this was possible. |

I've been trying to get those setting put into my Nokia 6200 for several days now and have got no where. It will connect to GPRS and try to send the e-mail and then it says it fails.
Any idea? -- mediaXpeer |

I had to go to several different menus on my SonyEricsson T226 in order to set up everything, but luckily it worked the first time I tried. I first went to the CONNECT menu and set up a new Data account with the "Photo messaging" name, then to the MESSAGE menu and chose EMAIL, then the Options and set up a new account (I named it Cell) and have it use the "Photo messaging" connection. That is where I entered the username/password and such that is listed. Then I took a pic with the camera and chose to send it via email, it worked! |
