shavano : I know there have been discussions on this in the past but I couldn't find any with my searches.

I'm thinking of getting an older G4 and want some advice from you long-time Mac users.

1. What is the oldest G4 to consider for reliability and for compatibility with OS X: AGP Graphics, Gigabit Ethernet, Cube, Digital Audio, or QuickSilver? I've already ruled out the PCI Graphics

2. Will I see noticeable performance differences between a dual 450 and a 733/800? Primary uses are email and browsing with occasional iTunes, iPhoto and occasional light Photoshop.

Thanks,

jet
(that's my initials; not to be confused with our fellow member Jet )
--
Wesley Clark for President: All Patriot, No Act
