 | It's not weird. Because of PPPoE + other protocols overhead, the users would get around 84% (range 0-87%) of the cap. 608 *.842 = 512kbps. -- Who dat? Who dere? |

| reply to gatorkram Sort of weird. SBC's previous caps were 160kbps up, 288kbps up, and 412kbps up. Their new caps are 256, 384, and 608. It's unfortunate they didn't just go with 768, but given that this is the first time you can get more than 412kbps out of SBC DSL for any price, I'll take what I can get! -- \\ROB - a part of the SCB local network |
