Bastards ONLY serve CA!

DAMN that's a good deal, but they only give it to the people they consider to be better in CA.

It's an outrage! If you NON CA residents want that deal, you'd better start making some noise. Now is the time!
Call up your TELCO, or whomever you gotta call to make noise.

Oh well, I may have to start making some noise after 2004, because I already have OOL for $50 a month and you know there is no service better than OOL speeds at our price.

The rates will go up in 2005, and I want the DSLExtreme option available whether or not I stay with OOL.

No, no, no. DSLExtreme is a SoCal based ISP with their own full IP connectivity for Verizon and SBC customers in SoCal and some NorCal regions. In these regions, they offer the full spread of speed packages that the telco's data transport provider offers (in this case, ASI).

More recently, they went national, and resell SBC IP (SBCIS) connectivity in areas that they do not have their own IP connectivity. In these areas their offerings are much more limited, you can't order 6000/608, not even at full price, let alone get this deal.

However, I would expect SBC themselves and other local ISPs that do offer SBC's big packages to announce similar deals.
