Re: URGENT: New video card - Mac won't boot I did happen to find the Hardware Test Disk that came with this machine. Ran the extended test, and everything checked out. Does this confirm that the card is fine 100%?
Gonna do a new install of X tonight and see what happens. I have a second HD in the machine that I'm pretty sure I can erase and install fresh.
If that doesn't work, I can install 9 from the Restore disks that shipped with the machine.
Man, all this trouble just to play a little computer golf!
