Re: Spysweeper? AdAware is good, but Spybot Search & Destroy is better, it has caught alot of things on my machine that AdAware never even spotted. I used Spysweeper in the past, it works well also, but it costs too much I think. | |

1 edit | Spysweeper - quite impressed I just tried it out for the first time. It picked up items that spybot did not and even a trojan that was not detected by either my kaspersky AV or Tauscan trojan detector. It was the "xdiver" trojan. Mind you, I havent run tauscan for about a week so it might have picked it up if I had done so.) Spysweeper provides a lot of easy to read information on the spyware which is nice if you dont know what it is. Like you said, it is a little pricey.
*Update*
I restored all the spyware that was removed and updated tauscan and then ran the tauscan scan. It didnt pick up the "xdiver".
