Dependability was the main reason. Also in blackout's cell phones are not too dependable. -- "The doctor's X-Rayed my head and found nothing" My site |

Interesting...in the last power outage in my area my Comcast digital phone was down yet my cell phone was working fine. In the past several years I cannot recall a time when my cell service was down. Myabe I'm just lucky. |

 | well then again you dont live in the state that has the power company --First Energy-- that caused the nation's largest black out cause they are tooo stupid to fix shit on time and to trim trees when its time to.. My cell phone was down during the last blackout but the landline worked fine. However TWC cable was off and on due to the headend has 2 different power companies...doesnt make sense but then again our main headend is in another city about 1hr and 30 minutes from my house. |
